Transit Trekkers

A Couple of Transit Geeks Take on South America

Transportation

Wow. This is a big one. Transportation Engineering was our educational background and the industry we worked in before traveling so we find ourselves discussing transportation facility design, travel modes, and transit operations A LOT. We love public transit (hence the name Transit Trekkers) and we hope to share our experience traveling via buses, trains, planes, bicycles, hitch hiking, boats, walking, motorcycles, hang gliding, skiing, scuba diving, trekking, or anything that gets us from Point A to Point B. Although we might geek out pretty hard here, transportation is something that is relevant to any traveler and we hope to inspire you to think outside the plane-taxi box.
