Transit Trekkers

A Couple of Transit Geeks Take on South America

Accommodations

Hostels will be our new home for a majority of the trip. We like hostels for the social and budget-friendly aspects but often choose to stay in our own room for security and privacy reasons. We’ll give you the down low on the hostels out there today, hostel amenities, and whether to stay in multi-bunk rooms or private rooms. We will also mix up our accommodations with AirBnB, tent camping, overnight buses and boats, WWOOFing, house sitting, and Couch Surfing.
